A Forgan, Okla., man died after his tractor-trailer rolled Wednesday morning while trying to turn off State Highway 64 east of Forgan.
Edwin Dale Searcy, 50, was driving a 1996 Freightliner tractor-trailer rig owned by Nichols Water Service of Forgan eastbound at 8:37 a.m. about one mile east of Forgan when he tried to turn southbound off the roadway. 
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Searcy was late in attempting the turn and rolled the rig, with the tractor rolling one time and coming to rest on its wheels, as the trailer tank rolled three-quarters ending up on its passenger side. Seat belts were not in use, according to the report.
The report noted it took emergency responders 23 minutes to extricate Searcy, who was pinned in the tractor. He was transported to Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Okla., with head, leg and internal and external trunk injuries. 
He was then life-flighted to Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, where he died at 4:20 Wednesday afternoon.
