The Rattler 9year-old team has swept through pool play to move to 3-0 at the state tournament.

After an opening 8-6 win over Ottawa, Cimarron River run-ruled Cottonwood Valley 14-4.

Elijah McCarter earned the MVP with a three-for-four performance at the plate, and Braxton Hyde won the WOW Award for throwing a runner out at second.

The Rattlers defeated Emporia Sunday, 17-11.

Hunter Carson won the WOW Award for a diving catch in center field, and Jett Brown earned the MVP for hitting a double, triple and scoring three RBIs.

The Rattlers will play in the championship bracket at 2:15 p.m.
