The Cimarron River 13-year olds swept through district play to advance to the state tournament.

Cimarron River knocked off SPIAA 12-0, Southwest 15-9, and had a rematch with Southwest in the championship and earned a 13-3 run-rule win.

Cimarron River will head to Osawatomie for the state tournament.

“It is pretty exciting,” coach Jose Rosales said. “It is a bigger challenge with the 90 feet bases. Our kids were happy to get to go to the state tournament.”
