Former WEC World champion coming to Liberal

Until last Saturday, Brian Bowles was the Bantam Weight Champion of the World in the World Extreme Cagefighting circuit.

Bowles broke his hand in the first punch in defense of his title and fought two rounds with a broken hand before the doctor stopped the fight.

Bowles will be in Liberal April 24 for Throwdown Showdown 7 when two local fighters will begin their professional careers in the newly constructed hexagon cage.
