Liberal police work the scene of an accident Monday afternoon in the 200 block of North Kansas. According to Liberal Police Department Captain Pat McClurg, a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo, driven by a 47-year-old female, and a 2002  Pontiac Grand Am, driven by a 21-year-old female, were stopped in traffic. The driver of a 2005 Nissan Ultima, a 26-year-old female, according to McClurg, did not see the vehicles and ran into the Monte Carlo which then stuck the Grand Am.
