Obituary

CIMARRON – Boyd David Williams, 49, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

He was born Jan. 22, 1961, to Leo and Emerlene L. (Miller) Williams in Houma, La.

He married Dana M. Eisele March 4, 1995, in Sublette. She survives.

He was a cowboy and a truck driver hauling cattle.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cimarron. He was an ordained missionary, a member of the North American Mission Board and a cowboy preacher. He was also a church planter of Cowboy Church in Hugoton.

He enjoyed being with his family.

Other survivors include his father; his mother, Emerlene Miller and husband, Everett, Creole, La.; one son, Adam Williams, Lake Charles, La.; five daughters, Tressa Miller and husband, Ryan, Spring, Texas, Cassi Glaze, Cimarron, Jacey Williams, Cimarron, Emmy Williams, Cimarron, and Rose Williams, Cimarron; five brothers, Herman Williams, Humble, Texas, Raymond Moore, Madison, Wis., Alan Miller, Colorado Springs, Colo., Larry Miller, Lake Charles, and Mark Miller, Grand Chenier, La.; six sisters, Carmen Duplechian, Nacogdoches, Texas, Renee Bertrand, Welsh, La., Michelle Miller, Lake Charles, Patricia Mouton, Newark, Del., Veronica Governale, Morgan City, La., and Barbara Portie, Creole; one grandson, Carson Miller; and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Regan, and one sister, Connie Gullory.

o Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Valleyview Bible Church in Cimarron with ministers Richard Diemund and Darren Remple presiding.

Burial will be at the Creol Cemetery in Reeves, La.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Montezuma Funeral Home.
