Rachel Barnes scored 13 points, and the Lady Saints had a chance to tie the game with a three point attempt with three straight three-point attempts with 20 seconds to play, but they all missed, and the Lady Saints lost the Region 6 final 54-49.

Seward fell behind early and spent the rest of the game chasing Labette. Several times in the second half the Lady Saints cut the lead to one, but Seward never took the lead in the second half in the loss.

Labette advanced to the national tournament and the Lady Saints ended with a 31-3 record and ranked No. 13 in the nation.
