HUGOTON – Angelia “Angie” Janine Dale, 31, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident in Ford County.
She was born June 27, 1978, to Steven Lynn and Carla S. (Ashlock) Showers in Ulysses.
She graduated from Hugoton High School in 1996. She was a member of the Hugoton Drill Team. She was also a cheerleader.
She worked as a secretary for several years. She worked at the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Hugoton and attended the Baptist Church of Dodge City.
She enjoyed bowling, volleyball and dancing.
Surivors include her grandparents, Norma Adams and husband, Lawrence, Bogue, and Cecil and Lucille Ashlock, Grain Valley, Mo.; her parents; two sons, Hunter Dale and Austin Dale, Bucklin; one brother, Nathan Showers and wife, Noble, Okla.; one sister, Nichole Reeves and husband, Fredrick, Elkhart; and uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Showers.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Hugoton with Minister Randy Nash presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
