HUGOTON – Jewell O. Horst, 92, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton.

She was born May 27, 1917, to Hance and Kathryn (Wheeler) Hill in Yardelle, Ark.

She married Paul Horst June 11, 1938 in Salina. He died March 14, 2002.

She was a member of the Hugoton United Methodist Church, UMW, Ulysses Chapter No. 471 of Eastern Star, PEO and the Red                       Hat Society at Pioneer Manor.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Reidel and husband, Jim, Eagle Rock, Mo.,  Janice Cutter and husband, David, Garden City, Barbara Morris and husband, Steve, Hugoton; one sister, Geraldine Fink, Russell; seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Earl, Ernest and Hance Jr. Hill; and two sisters, Myrtle Benso and Lu Strada.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at  the Hugoton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harry Cross presiding.

Interment will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at Miller Mortuary or the Hugoton United Methodist Church.
