HUGOTON – Margarita Ordonez, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
She was born Feb. 27, 1929, to Roman and Atocha (Bustillos) Andazota in Chihuahua, Mexico.
She married Jesus Ordonez in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church of Hugoton.
She collected farm animals.
Survivors include five sons, Humberto Ordonez and wife, Guadalupe, Arturo Ordonez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Leonel Ordonez and wife, Teresa, Chihuahua, Manuel Ordonez and wife, Carmen, Leadville, Colo., and Astolfo Ordonez and wife, Elvra, Garden City; two daughters, Antonia Macias and husband, Angel, Vale, Colo., and Maria Domiguez, Hugoton; one sister, Vrigida Medina, Chihuahua; 26 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Rosario, Angel and Jesus Andazota; and two sisters, Carmen Gonzales and Delores Diaz.
o A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton with Father Pascal Klein presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Paul’s Funeral Home.
