HUGOTON – Phyllis Kay Heilman, 66, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born Oct. 18, 1943, to John and Eleanor (Jasper) Young in Gridley.
She married Edward Eugene Heilman Dec. 31, 1959, in Emporia. He survives.
She was a waitress at Daylight Donut and a retail clerk and Bultman Inc.
She was a member of the bowling league of Liberal, the Eagles Club of Emporia and a lifetime member of the National Harley Owners Group.
She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting, making jewelry, collecting tins, mortorcycling, dancing and genealogy.
Other survivors include four daughters, Noelene Craft, Gage, Okla., Ginger Lee Floyd, Dodge City, Kaylee Norton and husband, Phillip, Rolla, and Lynnette Hageman and husband, Dennis, Hugoton; one brother, Roger Young and wife, Trenda, Topeka; two sisters, Charleen Knoblock, Yates Center, and Kathryn Maley and husband, Delbert, Emporia; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in dath by her parents, one son, Carl Heilman, one brother, Arthur Jasper, and one sister, Claudine Jones.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton with Pastor Eric Mason presiding.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fruitland Cemetery in Americus.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
